"Angie and Chris were extremely responsive and attentive hosts from the minute we emailed enquiring about the flat. The original flat we wanted wasn't available but they soon offered us equally beautiful options in great locations. The whole booking and enquiry process was faultless. When my partner and I arrived we were met by Chris at the metro near the flat. He showed us to the flat which was usefully situated on the ground floor (no long stairs to climb at the end of the day). The area is buzzing and lively; perfect as we wanted to have plenty of options for our evenings out. The additional bonus of where we were located was that the courtyard was set back from the main street so it was lovely and quiet for a good nights sleep. The flat was just as pictured, and a perfect little base for our long weekend. The bed was AMAZINGLY comfortable and all other facilities in the flat were top notch. Chris was kind enough to give us a little tour around the neighbourhood afterwards. This was invaluable and what made our trip the best it could be. The bar, restaurant, and shops recommended were fabulous. We certainly made the most of the great food, drinks and local atmosphere. They've also taken the time to create a lifestyle blog as well as a little top 5 things to do in your local area handout in the flat. All thoughtful touches. I would definitely recommend Chris and Angie to anyone wanting a trip to Paris and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again when making my next trip to the beautiful city. Their responsiveness made sure that I didn't worry in the slightest about how the trip would go with regards to accommodation. Certainly Hosts of the most!

"This is a fabulous and chic loft! My partner and I stayed here for 3 weeks and it perfectly suited us and our travels. This loft is suitably equipped and well decorated to make your stay feel homely. It is situated in a fantastic up and coming location with so many bars and restaurants that Angie & Chris personally recommend within walking distance. It is also so close to the Metro station (Bonne Nouvelle) and adjoining stations (Strasbourge Saint-Denis) to get wherever we needed to go. Angie & Chris are OUTSTANDING hosts, friendly, helpful, informative and great communicators. Service is just above and beyond - so much better than staying in a hotel!"

"The Josephine studio is by far the best place we have ever stayed in Paris. It's a perfect hideaway for a romantic stay, tucked in the rear part of a courtyard, underneath the foliage of a large chestnut tree. It just doesn't get any better! The Josephine studio itself is a modern accommodation with one large room containing the double bed, a small kitchen-section, and two chairs and a table. Everything is in perfect condition, tidy and clean. And the bed is a welcoming change from the worn-out beds you find in many hotel rooms, as this excellent bed makes you sleep like a baby. Upon arrival we were put up in the adjacent studio, which was merely a simple booking-mistake, but Chris and Angie resolved everything in no time! Next morning at 10 o'clock things were all sorted out, and we moved into the freshly cleaned Josephine studio. This goes to show, that Angie and Chris run their rental-business with a high degree of professionalism and take every measure to insure a perfect stay. If you rent with them, you definately have their attention; which makes for a very comforting stay. The neighborhood is pleasant and comes across as an authentic area to stay in. No shops selling Eiffel-tower-Tshirts! It has an everyday feel, with Parisians hurrying to and from work, having coffee at the local Tabac-bar, or grabbing a quick lunch in a bistro. Simply Paris - as we like to experience it. And speaking of bistros..., make sure to walk a few hundred meters down Rue La Fayette (which means turning left, when you're coming from Rue de Trévise). Here you will find the bistro "Au General Lafayette" - which is as authentic as it gets! The interior and the food is truly old-school Paris, without a hipster-chef trying to infuse a trendy touch on traditional dishes. This is french cooking which has escaped any form of modern design. And if you want to get rid of the calories, walk up to the "Parc des Buttes-Chaumont". Laid out in 1864 in an old stone-quarry, the park offers spectacular views, waterfalls, streams and lakes, and seems to be a spot where the Parisians come and hang out. It is very different from the many manicured parks of Paris, and therefore well worth visiting. Upon wrapping up this review, there's only one thing to say: Staying in the Josephine studio has been our best Paris-decision ever. So thanks - Angie and Chris - for having created such a fabulous place to stay."

"In times of bad rate of the brazilian currency, the choice of "Le maisonnette" was just perfect for us. We were in the heart of Paris, with all it has to offer and at the same time we had the convenience to have a little kitchen ready for use where we prepared our breakfast and cook our own dinner whenever we desired to. Chris was a gentle hoster presenting us the apartment and explaining all the funcionalities we had at our disposal. He showed us the neighborhood and suggested bars and restaurants nearby. We took 3 of his suggestions and we highly endorse the Farago restaurant/bistrot where we tasted good french food in a affordable price (we especially recommend the 'dejeuner menu'). For those who enjoy walking, that's the place to stay. We walked everywhere around (even up to the Eiffel Tower!) and just used the metro in the last 2 days after we had explored the whole center by feet. At last, we had the nice surprise to discover that Chris speaks portuguese fluently what made us really feel at home."
